More and more people have started investing time and effort into managing their mental health. But with the American insurance landscape being so complicated and confusing, it can be tough to understand whether your health insurance covers what you need. If you have All Savers Insurance, this post can help you learn more about what mental health services are covered and what you might need to pay for them.

All Savers Insurance Company offers self-funded health insurance products designed for small to mid-sized businesses. If you have coverage with All Savers through your company, you have coverage for certain mental health care needs, which can help make therapy and other mental health care much more affordable.
All Savers plans include access to a wide network of healthcare providers and resources to help you maintain your overall physical and mental well-being. Because All Savers Insurance Company operates under the UnitedHealthcare umbrella, its members have access to UnitedHealthcare’s large network of providers, including therapists and other licensed mental health clinicians.

Does All Savers insurance cover out-of-network therapy?
All Savers insurance may cover out-of-network therapy in certain circumstances. If you want to see an out-of-network mental healthcare provider, it may cost much more than seeing an in-network provider. You may have to pay out of pocket, and you should check beforehand to see if you will be able to file for any kind of reimbursement from All Savers. If you have questions about out-of-network therapy coverage, please refer to your All Savers summary of benefits (SOB) as described below, or contact All Savers directly
How to check if your All Savers insurance plan covers therapy
There are three main ways to find out if your All Savers insurance plan covers therapy and, if so, what it covers and how much it will cost.
1. Check your All Savers “summary of benefits” (SOB)
On the SOB, look for a row titled “If you need mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse services” and refer to the second column that says “Outpatient services.”
Sample image — your summary of benefits may look different depending on your provider
If the “Network Provider” and/or “Out-of-Network Provider” say “not covered,” then your All Savers insurance plan does not cover mental health services such as therapy.
If the “Network Provider” and/or “Out-of-Network Provider” give cost information, such as a copay or coinsurance, then your All Savers insurance plan does cover mental health services.
To learn more about how an SOB is structured, you can refer to this sample SOB from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
2. Contact All Savers directly
Contacting All Savers directly is the best way to get the exact information you need about what types of mental health care are covered.
To find contact information for All Savers, you can:
